Story

A sharp blade is the best blade: it is efficient, precise, and above all, safe. To ensure a razor's edge is always at arm's reach, we designed our Pocket Stone with the perfect balance of compactness and usability. With ample sharpening surface and a sturdy grip, the Pocket Stone can be used for any sized knife or axe, suitable even for a tricky drawknife or skiving knife. Double-sided with both a Soft Arkansas and Black Arkansas Stone, our Pocket Stone is capable of bringing a chipped blade back to a wicked edge, and the hickory handle is lacquered to guarantee the Pocket Stone’s use for generations, after plastic, set-bevel sharpeners have since been discarded.

Care

Taking pride in the care and maintenance of your tools is an integral part of taking pride in your work. Sharp knives are safer, easier to maintain, and reflect well upon their owners. Dull knives are complacent, unenjoyable, and have a tendency to act with minds of their own. So tame your knife by taking the time to acquire the know-how needed to keep it sharp.
