| At the heart of our cruiser lies a staggering 20 ounce American waxed duck canvas that we reinforced with double needle stitching, felled seams, and solid brass shanks. The rugged exterior of The Heavy Waxed Cruiser is offset by a soft corduroy collar, moleskin cuffs and neck stand, and is lined with a tan brushed cotton twill. Complementing the many small details are large front and back loading game pockets, a locker hang loop, and a tin of Best Made wax for re-waxing. Designed and manufactured in New York City, our jacket will adapt to the years, the exertion, and the service, and as it improves with age it will soon have a few stories of its own to tell. |

When we sat down to design our Heavy Waxed Cruiser we set out on a mission: to give our customers body armor from the elements, a look that would hold up under the toughest scrutiny, and above all a jacket that would last a very long time. This is the toughest jacket you will ever own. We field tested our jacket in the remote mountains and harsh conditions of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska.
