Story

Made in France by the legendary knifemakers at Laguiole, our Small Ebony Shepherd's Knife is a totem of the pastoral French countryside. With a highly contoured handle and blade shape unique to the true Laguiole, the design reveals an elegant profile when opened and tucks away neatly into a suit or coin pocket. The 12C27 Sandvik blade has a high hardness and is corrosion-resistant for carefree maintenance. The high polish of the stainless blade and bolsters contrasts handsomely with the depth of the ebony wood, sourced sustainably from Cameroon. The layout of the scale pins references both the shepherd's tradition of keeping a cross handy for prayer in the field and the celestial northern cross that never leads the flock astray.
