Job Description

As a Best Made Industrial Design and Product Development intern, you will have a diverse and rewarding experience in a fast-growing retail company. Working primarily in the Home and Hardgoods Department, you will have opportunities to assist with conceptualizing product designs, creating technical drawings and product mock-ups, sourcing materials and facilities, and presenting market research, across home, and hardlines categories. Working in a small, fast-paced company, you’ll have the flexibility to work with cross-functional teams across design, merchandising, production, marketing, logistics, distribution, and retail. Applicants should be confident using Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Strong rapid visualization and model making skills are required. The internship is a part-time or full-time position for a period of three to four months, based in Brooklyn, and designed for those who are interested in a truly comprehensive business experience. Portfolios, personal web sites, and past projects may be shared with your application.
