The position will be the leader on our sourcing & production team who ensures company milestone calendar is followed, projects are costed to budgets, and communication to cross-functional teams is streamlined. This role will help to lead by example by managing development and production for select apparel categories (full-package outerwear, wovens, bottoms). You will be a leader alongside the apparel merchandising and design teams to ensure all product development projects are executed per our specifications, costed to meet our margin goals, and are shipped on time to meet our delivery timelines. You will also be leading strategy for improving product quality, platforming raw materials, and optimization of supply chain for rapid iteration. The position will be a hands-on partner working as a hub between the merchant, operations and marketing teams to ensure data accuracy to drive business and buying strategy. Job Description

The Customer Experience Coordinator works to support, inform and educate our customers. You will be the first point of contact and brand ambassador with our customers. Best Made seeks to build lasting and meaningful relationships with our customers through our support team. In this role, you will listen and understand what the customer needs, be knowledgeable and creative with how we meet those needs, and make every interaction as helpful, informative, and pleasant as possible.

  • Act as ambassador and embodiment of the Best Made brand.
  • Educate and empower customers to become experts on their Best Made gear.
  • Expediently respond to customer service issues and inquiries via email, telephone, social media, and in person.
  • Coordinates with other departments and team members for issue resolution.
  • Generates thoughtful and strategic insights regarding customer needs.
  • Proactively builds and enhances relationships with customers.
  • Continuously learn about company products and skills to support and enhance customer experience.

Job Description

Best Made Company is seeking sales associates to work in our Los Angeles retail store, opening November 2017. The role will begin training in advance of the opening and will report directly to the store manager. Hiring will be considered for both Full and Part-time roles.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage time and tasks effectively without supervision, and provide solutions.
  • Approaches customer experience with a genuine spirit and attitude towards sharing quality information and service by building customer relationships.
  • Ensure seamless execution of the brand experience by leading the team to engage, develop and maintain relationships with all customers.
  • Lead by example and inspire the team to effectively uncover the customer's needs and present appropriate solutions.
  • Provide expert product and brand knowledge to support team development and customer awareness.
  • Communicate positively about the brand as both an employee and ambassador.

Industrial Design and Product Development Internship

Job Description

As a Best Made Industrial Design and Product Development intern, you will have a diverse and rewarding experience in a fast-growing retail company. Working primarily in the Home and Hardgoods Department, you will have opportunities to assist with conceptualizing product designs, creating technical drawings and product mock-ups, sourcing materials and facilities, and presenting market research, across home, and hardlines categories. Working in a small, fast-paced company, you’ll have the flexibility to work with cross-functional teams across design, merchandising, production, marketing, logistics, distribution, and retail. Applicants should be confident using Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Strong rapid visualization and model making skills are required. The internship is a part-time or full-time position for a period of three to four months, based in Brooklyn, and designed for those who are interested in a truly comprehensive business experience.
