Bruce Erikson founded Chacon in 1974. His workshop is in Rociada, New Mexico—nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristos. For 50 years, he and his family have been hand-crafting some of the finest belts and belt buckles in the southwest. For the first time, we’re proud to offer a limited selection of some of their best pieces.

The Denver Buckle is lost wax cast from bronze and hand-cut with a hardened steel chisel known as a silver graver. There are no mechanical steps to this process. Every Chacon buckle bears their hallmark on the reverse. Our Standard Belt, our Famous Red Belt, or any belt that’s 1.5 inches wide will fit into this buckle.
