Story

This small manual coffee grinder is made by Japanese brand Hario, and is one of their original — and most popular — designs. Founded in 1921, Hario was originally dedicated to the production of heat-resistant glass, and has since expanded into producing tools for coffee, tea, and more. Compact enough for travel and easy to use, this Japanese coffee mill will take anyone’s coffee game up a notch. The ceramic burrs don’t transfer heat, and are designed to “shave” the coffee beans rather than crack them, the way mechanical blade grinders do. The result is a more consistent, uniform grind and better, balanced flavor. The burrs are also adjustable, accommodating everything from pour over to espresso. To use, simply turn the stainless steel crank, and open up the wooden drawer at the base to get at your grounds.
