Best Made Company was founded in 2009 with a widely celebrated line of graphically adorned axes. The company soon grew to an international retail brand, with a vibrant product assortment of apparel and hard goods, a coveted print catalog, and stores in New York City and Los Angeles.
In 2019 Best Made's founder, Peter Buchanan-Smith left to pursue other projects and write a book. Shortly after, the company was sold.
Four years after he left, Buchanan-Smith received an unexpected offer to buy the company back. He reacquired Best Made in November 2023 and is currently re-imagining the brand and a new line of products.
What you need to know:
The Official Relaunch, including a new site, and new products are scheduled for September 2024. There will be product pre-releases before then.
In terms of product, we are starting from scratch. The product we currently have in development ranges from the familiar to the unexpected, and everything in between. Most of the product is scheduled to launch this fall. We will be pre-releasing some products before then.
