Knit in Atlanta, Georgia from American and New Zealand merino wool—23.5 microns for the ideal balance of softness and durability. The wool is processed and dyed at RWS (Responsible Wool Standard)-certified US facilities, then superwashed for a lasting color. We worked closely with the mill to perfect every detail: the 3x1 rib structure for breathability, 1x1 double cuff for secure fit, cushioned footbed for all-day comfort, and targeted arch compression for support. Neither too thick nor too thin, they regulate temperature in all conditions, wick moisture efficiently, and maintain their structure through countless wears and washes. Our extensive wear tests proved they deliver: 16 hours in Gore-Tex lined logger boots in the middle of August will do it.

Comes in standard crew-height, emblazoned with "BEST" around the cuff and available in three colorways, each will add intention to an otherwise overlooked piece of your everyday puzzle.

The merino wool in our Standard Wool Socks is sourced from RWS (Responsible Wool Standard)-certified facilities—a third-party verification system that ensures specific, measurable standards for animal welfare and land management. The certification requires progressive land management practices that protect soil health and biodiversity, and mandates humane treatment of sheep throughout their lives, from grazing to shearing. It's not a marketing term—it's an audited supply chain standard that traces wool from farm to finished product.

We chose RWS-certified wool because these standards align with how we believe materials should be sourced: with attention to long-term sustainability and respect for the animals and land involved in production.

Machine wash cold with like colors. The superwash treatment allows these socks to withstand regular machine washing without shrinking or felting, but cold water preserves the wool's natural properties and extends their life.

Tumble dry low or line dry. Low heat maintains the sock's structure and prevents unnecessary wear on the fibers. Line drying takes longer but is gentler still.

Turn inside out before washing to protect the outer surface and any areas of wear. This simple step reduces pilling and keeps the exterior looking sharp longer.

Avoid bleach and fabric softeners—neither are necessary with merino wool, and both can damage the fibers or interfere with the wool's natural moisture-wicking properties.
