A modern interpretation of the traditional canoe pack, with a slim profile, durable construction, sensible features.
The rucksack is made of stout, closely woven waxed cotton and military-grade cotton webbing. Edges are bound in waxed cotton tape, and stress points are bar-tacked or riveted. Solid brass hardware is used throughout. Made by Archival Clothing in Springfield, Oregon, these bags are practical and free of complications, with 22-ounce heavyweight waxed cotton twill, Horween Chromexcel leather, solid brass hardware, and military-grade cotton webbing. Practical features include: adjustable shoulder straps, two outer pockets, leather strap with brass roller buckle closure, and draw cord to secure the bag’s contents. A double-layer reinforced bottom ensures a long life and even wear, and a semi-rigid back panel prevents bag flop and guarantees a comfortable ride. Each bag is hand-numbered on the leather strap retainer.
