A new edition of the most fabled European pocket knife, only available at Best Made Co.The Mercator K55K Cat Knife was first produced at the dawn of the 20th Century by Heinrich Kaufmann & Söhne, in Solingen, Germany. Working closely with the current manufacturer, we are proud to release the first ever Brass Mercator, emblazoned with "BEST" on one side of the handle, and "MADE" on the other. Other features of the Brass Cat include an improved locking action, and a fine carbon steel C75 blade. An extremely thin design that slides into any pocket, the Brass Cat is an elegant upgrade, and like the traditional powder-coated Mercator, is made in Solingen for Best Made by Otter-Messer.
