Oxford canvas resists snags and abrasion in the brush, while rivets and double-needle stitching add strength where it is needed most. The knees - always first to go - have patch reinforcements extending up to where the knife in our front pocket always rubs through, offering plenty of room for wiping grease in between. The reinforced seat protects from any mount you have to swing a leg over, and ensures that excessive crouching doesn't result in sudden ventilation.
