Our American-made Service Jacket is a rendition of the iconic 1940s Marine Corps fatigues, rebuilt with the functional elements for which Best Made is known. Staying true to the original design, we sourced a Japanese-made 10-ounce reverse sateen, a weave employed for its windproof and water-resistant qualities. Deep patch pockets at the front offer sufficient storage for orienteering equipment, notepads, or a box of hand-tied flies. We engineered an articulated arm for greater range of motion and added height to the collar to keep out blustery weather. Double-needle stitching, bartacks at stress points, and urea buttons add to our Service Jacket’s overall durability, making for an iconic and versatile uniform worthy of the fighting force that made it famous.
