Our Standard Belt, emblazoned with our signature "Be Optimistic" motto for that daily boost, is manufactured in the USA from premium Wickett & Craig vegetable-tanned bridle leather. It has been 15 years in the making.

We were informed by timeless details found in saddle and harness design, made to patina with wear (the welcome consequence of vegetable-tanned natural leathers). This is the Best Made leather of choice, and as such we use it not just in our belts, but also our axe blade guards, and straps for our ball caps. Our Standard Belt features a solid brass single-prong roller buckle that is secured with solid brass Chicago screws so that the buckle can be swapped in and out. This belt will last a lifetime and only get better with each and every wear.

In the landscape of American manufacturing, Wickett & Craig stands as a testament to the enduring art of leather making. Our Standard Belt is sized to regular pant sizes, and fits true to size at the middle hole (and can be adjusted up or down as needed). The Standard Belt fits the same as our previous Standard Belts.
Cleaning: Use a soft brush or cloth. For deeper cleaning, use gentle leather cleaner. Dry thoroughly.

Condition when needed. Apply a leather conditioner sparingly with a lint-free cloth. Allow to dry.

Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid sunlight.
Keep dry. If wet, blot and air dry.
