Our 12-ounce canvas marks a significant evolution in the 5-Pocket tradition. Pre-shrunk, this robust fabric delivers durability without stiffness. Canvas's plain weave construction creates a denser, more tightly packed surface than denim's diagonal twill pattern, resulting in superior abrasion resistance. The uniform thread distribution prevents snags and wear-through that commonly afflict denim twill fabrics, particularly at contact points. Triple needle inseams and bartack reinforcements ensure longevity at stress points, while the cotton weave develops character over time. Unlike raw denim, this canvas offers immediate comfort without sacrificing durability.

Without elastane or spandex, our pants maintain their shape where stretch fabrics will ultimately sag. We've applied a garment rinse to the Mark 2 so it comes slightly softer and more broken in than Mark 1.
Machine wash cold with similar colors. Use mild detergent and avoid bleach. For optimal longevity, turn inside out before washing. Tumble dry low or line dry to maintain structure and prevent shrinkage. Remove promptly from dryer to minimize wrinkles. Iron on medium heat if needed.
